The 2018 season of Wilier Force 7C officially took off from San Martino di Castrozza, in the Primiero valley, by presenting itself to the press and to the fans
The presentation has taken place in the welcoming congress hall of Palazzo Sass Maor, with the two-time winner of the Giro d'Italia and Italian mountain bike marathon champion Gilberto Simoni, guest of honor, and together with the representatives of the sponsors who support the team in its growth path.
Alongside captains Tony Longo and Johnny Cattaneo, who signed a two-year contract to join the team led by Massimo Debertolis until 2019, there will also be the Austrian biker Uwe Hochenwarter.
Hochenwarter is going to reinforce the sturdy backbone of the team, which in 2018 will still have in the Trentino Tony Longo and in the Bergamo-born Johnny Cattaneo their pillars, with the former world champion Massimo Debertolis, who will split between the roles of team manager and athlete.
To complete the team there will be the Friulian Diego Cargnelutti, the Ligurian Marco Rebagliati and the emerging South Tyrolean Michael Wohlgemuth, confirmed in the squad after the good performances offered in 2017.
