August 2010 – Team MICHE is involved in these days racing on the Pyrenees, a classic stage race of beginning of August.
With start from Lourdes and arrive in Saragoza, the racers are riding on the most famous slopes of the French-Hispanic mountains.
An then, when the race is coming harder, Przemyslaw Niemec is coming out, and went to take his second victory in this season on the St. Lary Pla d'Adet finish line, after the climbing of Saint Savin, Tourmalt and Col d’Aspin. To complete the good Team performance there is Muto at the 9th place.
Since Thursday, the first stage, Team MICHE tasted the win with Pinizzotto that finished 2nd during the bunch sprint in Tarbes. Also in this case the Team performance was great with Szczawinski that finished 4th and Muto 9th, as a sign of great harmony and power of the Team.
Now Niemec rules the general ranking with 7” on Eijssen and 2’19” on Barle, and also the special grimpeur ranking. Team MICHE is 2nd in the special teams ranking. All the racers will be involved in defending the leadership of the captain Niemec during next two stages. The race in fac will finish on Sunday 8th August in Saragoza.
We will remember that Team MICHE will attend the classic Trittico Lombardo planned in the middle of August.
